A liberian friend of mine got me started on Georgette Heyer in the 60's. She said they were her one guilty pleasure. What a great read, Frederica is my favorite too. Glad to know you share the "guilty pleasure". The Grand Sophia is also a favorite, and after wading thru War and Peace, an Infamous Army waso easy to read and made sense of the battle.

Thank you, I will be on the lookout for INDISCRETION, having recently done a winter-comfort reread of eight or ten Heyers. THE GRAND SOPHY, THE TALISMAN RING, and VENETIA are the ones I usually recommend to new readers, but TUA, FREDERICA, and DC are also favorites. So happy they have been reissued so I can replace a few of the more tattered ones.
