Links I have posted to my Facebook page–

A “musical Solar System, based on real orbital frequencies,” Solar Beat is one of the coolest websites I’ve ever seen. Click on the link immediately.
If you’re like me and you love Gurinder Chadha’s films (Bend it like Beckham, What’s Cooking, Bride and Prejudice), you will be ecstatic to see this trailer of her new film, It’s A Wonderful Afterlife. It opens in the UK in April (lucky bastards) and Finland in August, and whenever it opens here is not soon enough for me.
Everyone liked this link to my friend Donna Freedman’s MSN articles about living on the cheap. Learn how to score freebies (a Freedman specialty), a no-cost funeral (seriously), and live rent-free. Diane said, “Sending her viral.” Good.

Ed Goldberg of KBOO interviewed me on my way through Portland, Oregon on book tour last February. Click here to listen.
Friend me on Facebook, always a party going on on my Facebook page!

Dear Dana:
Solar Beat is cool indeed!
Is that the pattern that was used in Close Encounters of the Third Kind?Wondering….

I’ve tried watching your YouTube film from your website and from YouTube – both stop dead at about 1min 8 seconds…
I just watched it, it’s running fine in my browser, except for the buffering of course. Try this: Mute the video, click the Play button and then go do something else while it loads. After it plays all the way through, unmute it and click Replay. Buffering is a royal pain where download speed is low.
