A Danamaniac weighs in on Kate18

One of the [very few] perks of being a manager for the Danamaniacs is that they each get a review copy of the new book months before pub day.

They are all now in receipt of their ARCs of Kate18. Sandy, one of the Fab Four, wrote to me thusly:

It’s wonderful.

It’s tightly written, typical Stabenow.

Just enough backstory for the uninitiated (fools that they would be).

How Sam came to be.

The Will. Sam’s words.

Kate and Jim’s reactions.

It all rings true.

Johnny’s reverence with the Winchester.

I’m in heaven.

And the kicker? She was only 30 pages in.

Though Not Dead, the eighteenth Kate Shugak novel, coming to a bookstore near you on February 1st.
