Some of you may remember a ridealong I did with the US Coast Guard back in 2007, on board USCG cutter Munro.
During which time you may also recall I blogged daily underway, on such adventures as the day I hit the ship with my head, the day I went flying in the helo, and the day the evil dust bunny struck. The experience — and that fabulous Munro crew — provided much fodder for Prepared for Rage, my second standalone novel. But I am one of the greenest writers around, if I can use something more than once I do. So Munro has a cameo role in the nineteenth Kate Shugak novel.
